Sanskar

Warg

The Sanstha runs value-based Sanskar Varg at 10 locations in Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad, aiming to instill good values, introduce noble thoughts, and promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being in children. By encouraging outdoor sports, Surya Namaskar, yoga, and limiting screen time, we strive for their holistic development. Our goal is to sustain existing centers and expand to at least three new locations.

Sanskar Varg: Structure, Guidance

One Sanskar Varg caters to 32-40 students. The activities are conducted by trained teachers, and the training for teachers is conducted by the Sanstha. The book "Sanskarkumbh", authored by Founder Smt. Malati Tai Joshi, is used as a guideline to conduct the activities. The Sanskar Varg is conducted once a week for two hours. It starts with prayers expressing gratitude towards parents, teachers, friends, nature, etc. This is followed by storytelling of moral stories, emphasizing the importance of values like truth, nonviolence, humility, and empathy to develop morally upright citizens.
